Bodhi seed beads can be used for counting all types of mantras, as well as other prayers, prostrations, circumambulations, and so forth. This basic, traditional mala has 108 Bodhi seed beads strung on heavy cotton cord. The beads don't have knots between them. The larger size of these beads can be very satisfying for counting.
