Characteristics - The 101G is similar in size and playing characteristics to a Bach 5G or Schilke 51. It is our most popular symphonic trombone mouthpiece. The 101G has an ID of 1.01 inches, a .280 throat. The NY blank has a slightly different outside contour than our regular Wedge. More of the mouthpiece mass is lower, toward the bottom of the cup.
