Daisy is a new character. She was introduced in the Netflix series Dreamhouse Adventures as a new friend of Barbie. She is also the first main Barbie character to not be svelte, and is a bit more on the heavy side.  In "Road Trip", Barbie recalls how she has known Daisy since Barbie fell off a playground slide while sliding backwards and upside-down. Daisy picked her up and when Barbie stopped crying, Daisy put Barbie back on the slide in the same position. In the same episode, Barbie says that
