A rare find is this superb late 15thc /early 16thc heavy Brass Pricket Candlestick.it stands on a broad round base and I love the early feature of the unusual double rounded large knop.and the height is typical of the period you would find in grand homes .what is especially nice about this example is that it has not been over cleaned , so it has a good natural patina.
