Perfect for workshops, classes, and parties! ★ (P/S I included an add-on for the date 2024 & 2025!) -------------------------------------------------------- ♦ ♦ ♦ The Lesson Plan ♦ ♦ ♦ I created this kit for a class I did with my middle school girls we made our own Vision Boards for the new year (but they also made me promise that we could do them again when school started in August). Traditionally, magazines are used when making Vision Boards but, since magazines are getting harder and harder to find these days (especially kid-friendly versions) I decided to create my own age-appropriate graphics to use instead - it cut down on the time needed for the kids to create their Vision Boards, and it also helped tremendously to have several copies of each design so everybody could use some of the same graphics if they wanted to. I started the class by explaining what a Vision Board was, and how to use one (see below). We talked about a few of our goals for the new year, and then I passed out a sheet of card stock paper, glue sticks, scissors, and a set of the Vision Board Printables to each girl. I cranked up the music and then let the kiddos get to work cutting out the graphics that they liked the best to glue on to their Vision Boards (the card stock paper). Some girls planned out their Vision Boards carefully by laying everything out on their boards to get it spatially perfect before gluing, while others glued as they went I left it totally up to them how they wanted to design their boards. Tweens and teens are the perfect age to make these they love inspirational quotes and are also big into making goals. My classes actually told me that making the Vision Boards was their favorite craft they've ever done at my studio.
