1905 18 pounder Shell Case Base Ash Tray / paper weight
Edwardian Shell Case pre-WW1
Edwardian Era Brass shell case converted into what would most likely have been an ash tray. No evidence that it was used for such, no smell of cigarettes. This could also have been used as a small sweet bowl or desk ornament/paper weight. Dated 1905 for an 18 pounder field gun.
